WALESKA, Ga. – David Nebus and
Sebastian Manuel are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, for the week ending February 8, the league announced Monday.

David Nebus | Junior | Defender | Ponte Vedra, Fla.
Against NCAA DIII Averett University, Nebus led a defense that only allowed 14 shots, six on goal, and forced 33 turnovers (18 caused). He totaled two caused turnovers and collected two ground balls.
The Junior leads the team in caused turnovers with eight and has eight ground balls to start the season. In the first three games of the season, Nebus has started all three and led a Bees' defense that has only allowed 18 goals, with opponents turning over the ball 92 times, 50 of which were caused as SCAD is 3-0 overall.
This is his first weekly award this season.

This week, against NCAA DIII Averett, the junior switched from assisting to scoring, coming up with a game-high seven goals to go along with one assist for a game-high eight points.
Manuel has had a hot start to the season, totaling eight goals (one game-winning) and nine assists, for a team-high 17 points in the first three games of the season. Thirteen of his 19 total shots have been on goal for a SOG% pf .684. SCAD has scored 51 goals in three games, totaled 22 assists for 73 points.
This is his first weekly award this season.
SCAD will host NCAA DIII LaGrange College on Saturday, February 14 at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
