Bailey Clark Joins SCAD as Associate Director of Athletics Communications

SAVANNAH, Ga. — SCAD Savannah's Sports Information Director, Colena Lord is excited to announce the hiring of Bailey Clark as the new Associate Director of Athletic Communications.
 
"I am excited to join the SCAD athletics department as the Associate Director of Athletics Communications" states Clark. "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Vice President Michael Shreve, Director of Athletics Amanda Haverstick, and Sports Information Director Colena Lord for this opportunity. I look forward to elevating the stories of our artist-athletes and contributing to the continued success of the Bees."
 
Clark joins SCAD after serving as the Director of Athletic Communications at Fort Valley State University. During her time with the Wildcats, she oversaw media relations and digital operations for 10 varsity sports. Her impact was felt immediately, as she grew the department's digital reach to over one million Instagram views and 705,000 website clicks within a 90-day span.
 
Prior to her time at Fort Valley State, Clark served as the Athletics Communications Coordinator at Flagler College. She also spent significant time at Georgia College & State University, where she served as both a graduate assistant and student assistant. During the 2023-24 academic year, she was a member of the staff awarded the Peach Belt Conference Sports Information Staff of the Year.

"Her extensive experience in live statistics and her ability to drive engagement on digital platforms will be a major asset as we continue to tell the story of our talented artist-athletes."
 
A native of Byron, Georgia, Clark earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Georgia College & State University in 2022.
