ATLANTA, Ga. — The No. RV SCAD men's lacrosse team continued its winning ways on Saturday afternoon, securing a dominant 21-5 road victory over NCAA DIII Oglethorpe University.
RECORDS: The Bees improve to 6-0 on the season, while the Stormy Petrels fall to 0-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD established control from the opening whistle, outscoring the opponent 6-1 in the first quarter with goals from
Noah Moreland,
Mason Hickman (2),
Jonathan O'Bryant Graves,
Ethan Cline, and
Ian Wildermuth.
The Bees maintained that momentum into the second frame, adding another six goals – Moreland (2),
Sebastian Manuel (3), and Hickman – while holding the home team scoreless to take a commanding 12-1 lead into halftime.
The third quarter saw the Bees add three more tallies from Manuel, Moreland, and Hickman, before finishing strong with a six-goal –
Ethan Cline, Hickman, Moreland, Manuel,
Logan Ortigosa, and
Eli Phillips – fourth quarter to seal the 16-point victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: The Bees' offensive onslaught was led by
Noah Moreland,
Sebastian Manuel, and
Mason Hickman, who each recorded five goals in the win. Manuel and Moreland also contributed two assists apiece, while
Jonathan O'Bryant Graves paced the team in playmaking with three assists to go along with one goal.
Ethan Cline added two goals, while
Ian Wildermuth,
Logan Ortigosa, and Eli Philips each found the back of the net once, with Phillips, and Wildermuth adding one assist each.
Lucas Martinez and
Peter Zagaroli rounded out the offense with one assist apiece.
In the faceoff circle, Martinez was dominant, winning 13-of-18 attempts and collecting a game-high 10 ground balls. Defensively, O'Bryant Graves led the way with four caused turnovers, while
David Nebus and Hickman added two.
In goal,
Noah Miller earned the win with three saves across 45 minutes of action, before
Callum Meroney and
Keaton Melcher finished the final quarter in relief.
SCAD finished the day outshooting the Stormy Petrels 64-26 (36-9 on goal) while going 15-of-17 on clear attempts.
