MONTGOMERY, Ala. – SCAD's Kai Evans and Elizabeth Weeks have been named the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Men's and Women's Bowlers of the Week for the week ending February 8.
 
SSAC Men's Bowler of the Week
Kai Evans | Senior | Salt Lake City, Utah
 
Evans helped lead the Bees to a second-place finish at the NAIA Open I on Saturday, finishing sixth overall with a total pinfall of 1048 for an average of 209.6. The Senior then helped the Bees to a first-place finish at the NAIA Open II on Sunday.
 
This is his third career honor.
 
SSAC Women's Bowler of the Week
Elizabeth Weeks | Junior | Florence, S.C.
 
Weeks led the Bees to a win at the NAIA Open I on Saturday with her first-place finish individually, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team in the process. The junior went on to lead the Bees to a second-place finish at the NAIA Open II on Sunday.
 
This is her fifth career honor.
 
The Bees will travel to Indianapolis, Ind. for the Tier 1 Hoosier Classic on February 14-15.
