SAVANNAH, Ga. – The SCAD men's and women's swimming teams dominated on Friday, winning 24 of 28 events as the men's team took on Life University in a dual meet, and the women's team faced Life University and Brenau University in a double dual meet.
 
TEAM RESULTS: The men's team totaled 160 points in the win over Life, who totaled 86 points.
 
The women's team defeated Life 200-50 and Brenau 198-58.
 
SCHOOL RECORDS: Throughout the day, the Bees broke three school records.
 
In the women's 50-yard butterfly, Valle Gonzalez broke the program record with a NAIA top time of 24.74.
 
Levente Mozsarik broke the program record in the men's 50-yard butterfly with a NAIA top time of 21.26.
 
In the men's 50-yard breaststroke, Zsombor Paksi broke the school record with his first-place time of 25.69.
 
WINNING TIMES: Lena Gerl won the women's 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:51.41. In the men's 1650-yard freestyle, Abel Eszenyi won with a time of 15:52.25.
 
In the women's 200-yard freestyle, Louise Jones won with a time of 1:52.71.
 
Jette Haedicke won the women's 100-yard backstroke, while Dario Rukavina won the men's 100-yard backstroke with a time of 50.94.
 
In the men's 100-yard breaststroke, Nazar Sementsov won with a time of
57.96.
 
Kailah Dauderman won the women's 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.43, while also winning the women's 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.07.
 
Zolton Tompos won the men's 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.61 and the men's 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.89.
 
In the women's 50-yard backstroke, Jette Haedicke won with a time of 26.46. Dario Rukavina won the men's 50-yard backstroke with a time of 23.70.
 
Nikki Hahn won the women's 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 29.31.
 
Louise Jones won the women's 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:03.56.
 
In the 100-yard butterfly, Rocio Monge won with a time of 58.88, while Levente Mozsarik won the men's 100-yard butterfly with a time of 47.82.
 
Valle Gonzalez won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:07.04.
 
TOP RELAYS: In the women's 200-yard medley relay, Jette Haedicke, Nikki Hahn, Valle Gonzalez, and Louise Jones finished first with a time of 1:43.55.
 
Finlay Saunders, Nazar Sementsov, Zsombor Paksi, and Levente Mozsarik won the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:31.98.
 
Louise Jones, Kailah Dauderman, Jette Haedicke, and Valle Gonzalez won the women's 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:33.14.
 
In the men's 400-yard freestyle relay, Caedmon Peterson, Zolton Tompos, Jan Gastal, and Levente Mozsarik won with a time of 3:04.02.
 
SENIOR DAY: Prior to the start of the meet, the 11 graduating members of the men's and women's swimming teams were honored: Garrison Allen, Jan Gastal, Leah Givens, Nikki Hahn, Bo Kasten, Jake Litchfield, Sky Marjamaa, Austin Quincy, Charlie Ragland, Dario Rukavina, and Nazar Sementsov.
