WARNER, FL – The No. 2 SCAD women's lacrosse team emerged victorious against Warner (FL), delivering a commanding performance that culminated in a 15-5 win on Saturday afternoon.
RECORDS: The Bees now hold a record of 12-2 and stand 5-1 in the conference, while Warner (FL) falls to 4-11 overall with a 1-5 conference record.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Bees showcased their offensive prowess from the opening whistle, with Emma Roch leading the charge by scoring three goals and providing two assists. Karley Holland and McKinsey Brown each contributed significant offensive efforts, scoring twice while Brown also tallied two assists. The Bees maintained control throughout the match, with Ellen Benintendi adding two goals and two assists to the mix, demonstrating the team's depth and playmaking capabilities.
Warner's Bailey Dykes made a notable impact with four goals, but the Bees' balanced attack and stifling defense proved too much for the home team. The Bees pulled ahead with a strong second quarter, scoring eight goals to extend their lead, firmly establishing their dominance in the game.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Emma Roch led the Bees with five points from three goals and two assists. Karley Holland and McKinsey Brown each added two goals and two assists, while Ellen Benintendi and Mollie Geiger both contributed multiple points with four and three points, respectively.
