LAKELAND, Fla. – The SCAD men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Sun Conference Championships over the weekend. The women's team finished in fourth place, while the men's team finished in fifth.
SCHOOL RECORDS: Maggie Froning set a new school record in the 800M with a time of 12:13.68, placing her third overall.

Donovan Slattery, and
Aiden Andrews set a new school record in the men's 4x400M with a time of 3:34.46, placing them sixth overall.
The women's 4x400M team of
Maggie Froning,
Erin Landis,
Carlotta Walser, and
Clara Wallace set a new school record with their third-place time of 4:06.85.
WINNING TIMES: Jacob Alexander won the 10,000M with a time of 33:05.02.
With a time of 9:56.58,
Tom Schroeder won the 1500M.
Donovan Slattery won the 3000M steeplechase with a time of 9:56.58.
Talia Sullivan won three events: the 10,000M (36:42.01), the 1500M (4:49.58), and the 5000M (18:59.70). Sullivan's time in the 10,000M was good for an NAIA "B" standard.
RELAYS: The men's 4x800M relay team, consisting of
Donovan Slattery,
Max Heins,
Isaac Cinnamon, and
Dylan Lyons, finished fourth with a time of 8:28.59.
Carlotta Walser,
Mila Gresh,
Erin Landis, and
Ella Hodges finished the 4x800M with a third-place time of 10:10.77.
FINALS: The Bees advanced to the finals in 11 individual races.
Liz Hogan finished second in the 10,000M with an NAIA "B" standard time of 36:42.08.
Mila Gresh finished second in the 1500M with a time of 4:50.25, while
Ella Hodges placed fifth with a time of 4:57.44.
Max Heins took second in the 5000M with a time of 15:36.61, while
Jacob Alexander took fifth with a time of 16:12.77.
With a time of 19:17.89,
Edith Manfred finished third in the 5000M.
Jacob Alexander finished in fifth in the 1500M with a time of 4:03.37, while
Aiden Andrews finished in eighth with a time of 4:08.05.
Isabella Zaro took seventh in the 400M hurdles with a time of 1:10.64.
Sarah Paulus finished 10
th in the shot put with a mark of 10.29m.
Aiden Andrews finished eighth in the 800M with a time of 1:59.39.
