STATESBORO, Ga. – The SCAD men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Georgia Showdown hosted by Georgia Southern on Saturday, breaking two school records and winning four events.
SCHOOL RECORDS: Maggie Froning won the 800M with a school record and NAIA "B" standard time of 2:14.36.
Sarah Paulus broke the school record in the shot put with her mark of 10.10m.
WINNING TIMES: Along with Froning, Aidan Andrews won the 800M on the men's side with a time of 1:58.78.
Max Heins won the 5000M with a time of 15:20.66, while
Donovan Slattery won the 3000M steeplechase with a time of 9:48.92.
