Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.  – The No. 10 SCAD women's tennis team traveled to Lawrenceville, Ga., to compete in the GGC Invitational. On Friday, the Bees faced No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett and No. RV Cumberland.
 
GEORGIA GWINNETT: SCAD faced Georgia Gwinnett first thing on Friday morning, dropping a 5-0 decision to the Grizzlies.
 
DOUBLES POINT: Georgia Gwinnett won all three doubles positions, taking an early 1-0 lead.

• No. 1 – Yue Yu/Lisa Konrad: L, 6-4
• No. 2 – Chloe Cobianchi/Cherry Xiang: L, 6-1
• No. 3 – Francina Puig Llompart/Adaline Flanagan: L, 6-0

SINGLES ACTION: The Bees fought tough, but it wouldn't be enough as the Grizzlies put the match away with wins at numbers one, two, four, and six singles to clinch the 5-0 win.

CUMBERLAND: The Bees picked up a 4-1 win in the second match of the day against the No. RV Phoenix of Cumberland University.
 
DOUBLES POINT: SCAD won the doubles point with wins at numbers one and three doubles to go up 1-0 early.
