KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the 24-team field for the 2026 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship, and SCAD Savannah is heading back to the national stage. The Bees have earned an at-large selection and will enter the tournament as the No. 8 seed overall.
By securing a top-eight seed, the Bees receive a coveted first-round bye and will automatically advance to the second round of the championship bracket. The 45th Annual NAIA National Championship will be held May 12-16 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.
The Bees' selection as an at-large team was determined by the NAIA Tennis National Selection Committee, rewarding SCAD for a stellar regular season against some of the top-ranked competition in the country. SCAD is one of four teams from The Sun Conference to make the prestigious 24-team field, highlighting the strength of the league.
The Bees will hit the courts for their first match of the tournament on Wednesday, May 13. First serve and opponent details will be announced following the conclusion of the first-round matchups.
