SCAD’s Mario Goic and Saga Bryntesson Earn USC All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced the association's 2025 NAIA All-America teams on Wednesday, and SCAD's Mario Goic and Saga Bryntesson have earned spots.
 
For the second time in as many years, Mario Goic has been named United Soccer Coaches NAIA Men's All-American. He is one of four men to earn this honor this year to have been named twice.
 
The graduate student from Zadar, Croatia, earned his spot as a forward. For the second-straight season, Goic was named to the Sun Conference First Team and was the Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Goic led the team in goals (13) and points (30) and was second on the team in assists (4).
 
For the second consecutive season, Saga Bryntesson has been named a United Soccer Coaches NAIA Women's All-American.
 
From Arvika, Sweden, the sophomore goalkeeper is only one of seven women on the list to earn this honor twice.
 
Bryntesson was named to the Sun Conference First Team for the second consecutive season. Compiling 10 shutouts this season, the sophomore has recorded 55 saves, facing 104 shots for a save percentage of 0.764. Bryntesson allowed only 17 goals this season, for a goals against average of 0.930.
