HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The SCAD women's cross country team ran to its fifth-straight Sun Conference Team Championship win on Saturday, while the men's team finished in third.
WOMEN'S RESULTS: The Bees won their fifth consecutive Sun Conference Championship with 33 points. Graduate student
Talia Sullivan won the Individual Title, placing first with her time of 21:52.6.
Edith Manfred was the Runner-Up with a time of 22:04.6. Milia Gresh placed fourth overall with a time of 22:52.7, while
Jess Lyons took eighth with a time of 23:30.2.
Sun Conference Championship – 6K – 7 Teams, 63 Runners
MEN'S RESULTS: The Bees finished third with 66 points. Ave Maria University won the event with 32 points, while Southeastern University totaled 64 points for second. Junior
Max Heins won the Individual Title with his first-place time of 25:07.5.
Tom Schroeder finished in seventh with a time of 25:37.0.

SUN SPECIALTY AWARDS: At the conclusion of the event, the Bees totaled three major awards.
Talia Sullivan was named the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year, while
Max Heins was named the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year. Head Coach
Katy Kiser was named the Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year in her first year at the helm.
ALL-CONFERENCE: To earn Sun Conference All-Conference honors, a runner must finish in the top 15 at the Sun Conference Championships.
