TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – SCAD's
Talia Sullivan earns second-consecutive NAIA All-American honors, while the women's cross country team finishes 21
st at the NAIA National Championship. The men's team sent two individuals.
ALL-AMERICAN: For the second straight year,
Talia Sullivan has earned All-American honors. The graduate student placed 11
th overall with a 6K time of 21:37.9, breaking the SCAD program record in the process. In the 2024 NAIA National Championship, Sullivan placed 40
th with a time of 21:48.9.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: After Sullivan,
Edith Manfred placed 67
th with a time of 22:29.5.
Mila Gresh finished in 104
th with a time of 22:56.3, while
Hannah Fisher placed 254
th with a time of 24:35.8.
Jess Lyons and
Amelia Slagle finished in 259
th and 272
nd with their respective times of 24:41.5 and 24:59.9.
Nora Kraska placed 293
rd with a time of 25:42.7.
On the men's side,
Tom Schroeder finished the 8K in 99
th with a time of 25:57.9, while
Max Heins placed 160
th with a time of 26:23.0.
TEAM RESULTS: The Bees finished in 21
st out of 36 teams with a combined score of 526.
WHAT'S NEXT? This concludes the cross country season. The Bees will return to action in January with indoor track & field.
