HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The No. 18 SCAD women's soccer team hosted St. Thomas University on Wednesday and drew 0-0 with the Bobcats for the second time this season.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 7-5-4, 3-1-3 SUN, while the Bobcats are 9-3-4, 4-12 SUN.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The game started with both teams trading shots back and forth, with SCAD totaling three shots in the first half, all on goal. The Bees' defense held St. Thomas to only four shots on goal in the opening half, with goalie
Saga Bryntesson picking up three saves before halftime.
Bryntesson totaled six saves in the second half to keep the game scoreless. The Bees totaled five shots in the second half, but it would not be enough as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Saga Bryntesson totaled a season-high eight saves to keep the Bees in the game.
