BABSON PARK, Fla. – The SCAD men's soccer team picked up its second conference win of the season with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors of Webber International University on Wednesday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 4-3-2, 2-1-0 SUN, while the Warriors are 3-2-1, 2-2-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Webber International got on the board first with a goal at the 37:35 mark. Six minutes later, the Bees answered with a goal of their own when
Michael O'Brien found the back of the net to knot the game at 1-1. Neither team scored for the remainder of the first half, so the score remained tied heading into the second half.
Moritz Prattes, off an assist from
Raffael Mohr, gave the Bees the 2-1 lead in the 79
th minute. Mohr added to SCAD's lead with a goal five minutes later to give the Bees the 3-1 win.
