Lakeland, FL - The SCAD women's soccer team secured a commanding 3-1 victory against Southeastern on Saturday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-1-1, (2-0-0 SUN) for the season. Southeastern is now 1-5-1, (0-3-0 SUN).
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD took the lead early in the 9th minute with a goal by Sydney Chura, assisted by Lane Lieberman. Southeastern equalized in the 15th minute, but SCAD regained the lead in the 66th minute with a goal by Ida Akesson, assisted by Lucabella Ralph. The Bees sealed the victory in the 81st minute with a goal by Abigail Siddall, assisted by Ines Sommer.
KEY PERFORMERS:
Sydney Chura: Scored the opening goal, setting the pace for SCAD's performance.
Ida Akesson: Netted the crucial second goal, giving SCAD the lead.
