SAVANNAH, Ga. - The SCAD women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance with a 6-0 victory over Middle Georgia State on Friday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 3-1-0 for the season, while Middle Georgia State falls to 0-1-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD wasted no time in asserting their dominance. In the 18th minute, Sydney Chura opened the scoring with a well-placed shot, assisted by Lois Beer. Chura struck again in the 33rd minute, doubling the lead for the Bees. After halftime, Sam Wong added another goal, giving SCAD a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break.
In the second half, SCAD continued to showcase their offensive prowess. Abigail Siddall scored in the 48th minute, assisted by Sydney Chura. Mia Nelson then found the back of the net in the 78th minute, with an assist from Mia Gomez. Finally, Mia Gomez capped off the scoring in the 82nd minute, assisted by Ella Augustsson, securing a decisive 6-0 victory for the Bees.
