HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The No. 2 SCAD women's lacrosse team dominated the visiting Falcons of Concordia University Wisconsin on Tuesday, winning 22-1.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 3-3 overall, while the Falcons are now 0-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD scored nine unanswered goals in the first quarter to go up 9-0 heading into the second quarter.
The Bees scored the first two goals in the second quarter before Concordia made it 11-1 scoring their only goal of the game. SCAD scored one more goal to go up 12-1 going into halftime.
SCAD went on to score six goals in the third quarter, followed by four goals in the fourth to earn the 22-1 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Clarke Haas and
Annise Berkeley led the offense with four goals and one assist each.
Ainsley Jones totaled a game-high six points with three goals and three assists.
Emma Roch added three goals while
Molly Wilson,
Paige Christoff, and
McKinsey Brown totaled two goals, Wilson and Christoff added one assist each.
Keagan Plume had one goal and four assists with
MaryGrace Gordon totaling one goal.
Ainsley Jones had a game-high seven draw controls with
Annise Berkeley adding four.
Grace Gibson totaled a game-high two caused turnovers and tied a game-high four ground balls.
Emma Roch and
Paige Christoff also had a game-high four ground balls.
Goalies
Chloe Zundel and
Lorna Fowles split time in the cage with one and two saves, respectively.
