MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The No. 4 SCAD women's lacrosse team defeated St. Thomas University 13-0 on Thursday night.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-5, 1-0 SUN, while the Bobcats are now 4-5, 0-2 SUN.
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD totaled one goal in the first quarter, followed by four goals in each of the remaining quarters to earn the 13-0 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: The Bees' defense held St. Thomas to only 13 shots, seven of which were on goal.
Keagan Plume had six assists for six points, while
Clarke Haas had five goals for five points.
Ainsley Jones had three goals, with
Brielle Bouchard and
Emma Roch scoring two goals each. Annise Berkley had one goal and a team-high three draw controls.
Emma Roch totaled a game-high seven ground balls, while
Ainsley Jones had two caused turnovers.
Goalie
Lorna Fowles totaled seven saves in her 50 minutes of work.
