MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The No. 14 SCAD women's soccer team showcased their offensive prowess in a dominant 4-0 victory over RV St. Thomas University on Saturday afternoon.
RECORDS: The Bees improve to 13-1-2 (SUN 7-0-1) for the season. St. Thomas falls to 7-3-5 (SUN 4-3-1) on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD wasted no time taking control of the match, with Sydney Chura finding the net just three minutes into the game. The Bees continued their aggressive offensive play, with Ines Sommer extending the lead in the 21st minute. Chura would add her second goal of the match in the 25th minute to give SCAD a commanding 3-0 lead heading into halftime.
The second half saw Abigail Siddall add to the scoring in the 72nd minute to secure the 4-0 victory. The Bees' defense remained solid throughout, limiting St. Thomas to just five shots while recording their second consecutive clean sheet.
SCAD demonstrated their offensive dominance throughout the match, recording 14 shots to St. Thomas's five, while also earning four corner kicks.
