HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The SCAD men's soccer team earned the biggest upset win in program history, blanking No. 4 St. Thomas University 1-0 on Wednesday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 10-3-2, 6-1-0 SUN, while the Bobcats are 11-2-1, 6-2-0 SUN.
DID YOU KNOW? This is the largest upset in program history as SCAD is currently unranked and defeated No. 4 St. Thomas. In 2019, the Bees upset then No. 9 Southeastern.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Taking seven shots each in the first half, neither team was able to get ahead, going into halftime tied at 0-0.

th minute,
Mario Goic took a free kick from about 25 yards out that was blocked down.
Raffael Mohr followed through and found the back of the net to give SCAD the 1-0 lead and, ultimately, the win.
St. Thomas's last chance to score came in the 89
th minute, but a crucial save from
Connor Friel eliminated the threat and clinched the win.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Raffael Mohr took one shot and made it count, scoring the game-winner.
- Connor Friel earned the clean sheet, making five saves in his 90 minutes of work.
