BOCA RATON, Fla. – The SCAD men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Boca Raton, Fla. for the ITA Regionals Thursday-Saturday.
 
MEN'S DOUBLES: David Lopez Cruz and Patrcia Medrano defeated St. Thomas University 8-2 in the round of 32 but lost 8-7 (7-4) in the round of 16 to Keiser University.
 
Carson O'Hara and Adam Jaupart had a bye in the round of 32 and lost to Ave Maria University 8-6 in the round of 16.
 
Mark Tryakshin and Liam Stoica had a bye in the round of 32 and lost to Southeastern University 8-7 (7-1) in the round of 16.
 
Rodrigo Zapata and Gui Sousa lost 8-3 to Ave Maria University in the round of 32.
 
Danil Ozernoy and Henri Wieber had a bye in the round of 32 and lost to St. Thomas University 8-5 in the round of 16.

Cherry Xiang and Mariia Petrova had a bye in the round of 32 and defeated College of Coastal Georgia 8-2 in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals they lost to teammates Priya Sukkanha and Mariia Petrova 8-4.
 
Priya Sukkanha and Mariia Petrova had a bye in the round of 32 and defeated St. Thomas University 8-3 in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals they faced their teammates and won 8-4 to advance to the semifinals where they lost 8-3 to Keiser University.
 
Alessia Piccoliori and Francina Puig Llompart had a bye in the round of 32 and defeated Southeastern University 8-1 in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals, the duo defeated Southeastern University 8-3 to advance to the semifinals where they lost 8-5 to Keiser University.
