SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. RV SCAD men's tennis team hosted No. 6 Southeastern University on Saturday afternoon and fell 6-1.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 3-10, 1-5 SUN, while the Fire is now 16-3, 5-1 SUN.
DOUBLES ACTION: Unfortunately, none of the doubles' teams were able to win their matches against Southeastern. The number one doubles pair of
Danil Ozernoy and
David Lopez Cruz lost 3-6 while
Mark Tryakshin and
Johan Karlsson lost 6-7(3) at number two doubles.
Eddie Wade (Cincinnati, Ohio / Fashion Marketing and Management) and
Rodrigo Zapata lost at number three doubles with a score of 1-6.
SINGLES ACTION: Mark Tryakshin (Tashkent, Uzbekistan / Digital Media) gave SCAD their only point by winning at number one singles with scores of 6-2, 6-2.
Danil Ozernoy (Almaty, Kazakhstan / Advertising and Branding) lost at number two singles with scores of 4-6, 6-2, and 5-10 while
Johan Karlsson (Eskilstuna, Sweden / Architecture) lost 3-6, 2-6 at number three singles.
At number four singles,
David Lopez Cruz (Sevilla, Spain / Interactive Design / Game Development) fell 0-6, 0-6 while
Rodrigo Zapata (Lima, Peru / Architecture) and
Gui Sousa (Lisbon, Portugal / Illustration) lost 0-6, 1-6 and 2-6, 2-6 at numbers five and six spots, respectively.
