Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The No. 8 SCAD women's tennis team traveled to Miami Gardens, Fla. on Friday afternoon to compete against No. 11 St. Thomas University, winning 4-3.  
 
RECORDS: The Bees advance to 7-6, 2-1 SUN while the Bobcats are now 14-3, 1-3 SUN.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: The pair of Piccoliori and Puig Llompart won 6-4 against St. Thomas at number two singles.
 
Yue and Ragona lost 4-6 at number one singles while Botsford and Lewis fell at number three singles with a score of 5-7 to give the Bobcats the doubles point.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Yu Yue (Dalian, China / Illustration) won 7(7)-5, 7-5 at number one singles, while Alessia Piccoliori (S. Cristina (BZ), Italy / Graphic Design) won 6-0, 2-6, and 6-2 at number two singles.
 
At number three singles, Sofia Ragona (Turin, Italy / Luxury and Brand Management) won 7-5, 3-6, and 6-4 with Caroline Lewis (Marietta, Ga. / Fashion Marketing and Management) winning at number five singles with scores of 6-2, 6-3 giving the Bees their four points.
 
Frrancina Puig Llompart (Palma de Mallorca, Spain / Interior Design) and Britain Botsford (Delray Beach, Fla. / Film and Television) lost 5-7, 2-6 and 3-6, 2-6 at numbers four and six, respectively.
