RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-6, 1-1 SUN while the Gyrenes advance to 5-5, 2-0 SUN.
DOUBLES ACTION: The pair of
Francina Puig Llompart and
Caroline Lewis won 7-5 against Ave Maria at number three doubles.
The Gyrenes won 6-4 over the pair of
Alessia Piccoliori and
Yue Yu at number one doubles and 6-2 over
Sofia Ragona and
Chloe Cobianchi at number two doubles to earn the doubles point.
SINGLES ACTION: Yue Yu (Dalian, China / Illustration) won SCAD's first point at number one singles with scores of 6-1, 6-3 while
Sofia Ragona (Turin, Italy / Luxury and Brand Management), in number three singles, won the Bee's second point with scores of 6-1, 6-4.
In number two singles,
Alessia Piccoliori (S.Cristina (BZ), Italy / Graphic Design) lost 6-7(4), 3-6 while
Francina Puig Llompart (Palma de Mallorca, Spain / Interior Design) lost at number four singles with scores of 1-6, 7(3)-6, and 2-6
Caroline Lewis (Marietta, Ga. / Fashion Marketing and Management) and
Chloe Cobianchi (Bologna, Italy / Undeclared) lost 2-6, 0-6 and 6-2, 0-6, and 4-6 at numbers five and six singles, respectively.
