HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The No. 10 SCAD women's lacrosse team hosted No. 1 Keiser University losing 19-13 on Saturday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 1-5 while the Seahawks 8-0, 1-0 SUN.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Keiser started the scoring with three goals answered by a SCAD goal from
Clark Haas (Pensacola, Fla. / Fashion Marketing and Management) assisted by
Aly De Caro (El Dorado Hills, Calif. / Advertising and Branding) at the 8:49 mark.
The Seahawks were able to score only one more goal in the first quarter while the Bees went on a scoring streak with four goals. The first from
Keagan Plume (Glen Arm, Md. / Architecture) assisted by De Caro with the second coming from
Annise Berkeley (Massillon, Ohio / Architecture). The third goal came from
Ainsley Jones (Harvard, Mass. / Graphic Design) assisted by Haas and the fourth from
Kambria Barry (Orlando, Fla. / Architecture) at the end of the first bringing the score to 4-5 going into the second.
Keiser scored five goals in the second but was split up by a SCAD goal from Haas at the 9:39 mark which brought the scores to 9-6 going into the half.
The Seahawks started the third quarter with two goals but was quickly answered by back-to-back goals from Haas, Berkeley, and another from Haas. Keiser scored three more goals in the third but was broken up by two Bees' goals from De Caro and
Emma Roch (Savannah, Ga. / Fashion Marketing and Management) assisted by
Molly Wilson (Acworth, Ga. / Graphic Design) rounding the score to 14-11.
The scoring in the fourth was started by the Seahawks at the 11:43 mark followed a minute later by SCAD's Haas. Keiser scored two more goals before the Bees could answer with a goal at the 3:07 mark by
Brielle Bouchard (Atlantic Beach, Fla. / Fashion Marketing and Management).
The Seahawks were able to score two more goals finishing the score at 19-13.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Haas led the offensive charge with five goals, four ground balls and one caused turnover.
Berkeley scored two goals, gained control of one ground ball and Plume totaled one goal and one ground ball.
Barry scored one goal, had two caused turnovers, and two ground balls while Roch totaled one goal, two caused turnovers, and one ground ball.
Jones, De Caro, and Bouchard scored one goal each with De Caro having two ground balls, Jones and Bouchard having one ground ball each.
Goalie
Lorna Fowles (Petaluma, Calif. / Animation) totaled 11 saves and one ground ball in her 60 minutes of work.
