Box Score OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 4 SCAD women's tennis team faced No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan University in the first round of the ITA/NAIA Indoor National Championship and won 4-1.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 2-1 overall while Indiana Wesleyan is now 14-1.
DOUBLES ACTION: SCAD finished doubles a point down as the Wildcats won at numbers one and two doubles.
SINGLES ACTION: The Bees were able to turn the tide in singles action. Picking up four points for the 4-1 win.
Sofia Ragona (Turin, Italy / Luxury and Brand Management) earned the first point for the Bees with her 6-4, 6-0 win at number three singles. At number one singles,
Alessia Piccoliori (S.Cristina (BZ), Italy / Graphic Design) earned SCAD its second point with a 6-2, 6-2 win.
The last two points came from
Francina Puig Llompart (Palma de Mallorca, Spain / Interior Design) at number five singles (6-1, 4-6, 6-1) and
