SAVANNAH, Ga. – The SCAD women's tennis team hosted Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Saturday winning 4-3.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 4-3 while the Stallions are now 4-4.
DOUBLES ACTION: All three of the teams won their matches giving the Bees the double point.
Yue Yu and
Alessia Piccoliori won at number one doubles with a score of 6-4 while
Sofia Ragona and
Lisa Konrad (Karlsruhe, Germany / Fashion) won at number two doubles with a score of 6-3.
Francina Puig Llompart and
Chloe Cobianchi won with a score of 7-6 in number three doubles.
SINGLES ACTION: Yue Yu (Dalian, China / Illustration) won at number two singles with scores of 6-2, 7-5 and
Sofia Ragona (Turin, Italy / Luxury and Brand Management) win in number three singles with scores of 6-2, 6-1 giving the Bees two more points.
In number four singles,
Francina Puig Llompart (Palma de Mallorca, Spain / Interior Design) won with scores of 6-1, 6-0 giving SCAD their final point.
At number one singles,
Alessia Piccoliori (S.Cristina (BZ), Italy / Graphic Design) lost with scores of 1-6, 0-6 while
Chloe Cobianchi (Bologna, Italy / Undeclared) and
Caroline Lewis (Marietta, Ga. / Fashion Marketing and Mangement) lost with scores of 5-7, 1-6 and 0-6, 1-6 in number five and six singles, respectively.
