Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Compete at the Sun Conference Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The SCAD men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the SSAC/Sun Conference Championship on Monday.  
 
 
WOMEN'S TOP FINISHES: In the 1000m, Froning finished first with a time of 3:09.88.
 
De Santiago finished first in the mile with a time of 5:09.11 setting a meet record and was also an NAIA B standard time.
 
Sullivan won the 5000-meter with a time of 19:01.13 and ran an NAIA B standard time in the 3000-meter.

 
WOMEN'S RELAYS: Finishing first, De Santiago, Randall, Froning, and Gralki ran the distance medley in 13:07.37.
 
Landis, Zaro, Randall, and Froning finished sixth in the 4X400M relay with a time of 4:30.38, while Edwards, Giddens, Michelangelo, and Murr finished second in the 4x800M relay with a time of 11:49.23.

MEN'S RELAYS: The distance medley relay team of Dosunmu, J. Jake Hays (YoungWood, Pa. / 3D Animation), Austin Joseph (McDonald, Pa. / Visual Effects), and Smith placed fifth with a time of 11:51.77.
 
Dosunmu, Hays, Joseph, and Smith finished seventh in the 4x400M relay with a time of 3:46.78.
