INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The SCAD men's and women's bowling teams traveled to Indianapolis, Ind. for the Tier 1 Hoosier Classic over Saturday, February 18
th – Sunday, February 19
th.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: The tournament consisted of six individual games followed by 15 baker games then concluded in match play.
WOMEN'S RESULTS: The women's team qualified seventh going into match play with a total pinfall of 8748. In the first round, the Bees defeated number two seeded Webber 2-0. Then, SCAD defeated number three seeded Mount Mercy 2-0 to advance to the finals. They advanced all the way to finals in the match play, losing to number one seeded Wichita State in five games.
Pamela Perez (Carolina, Puerto Rico / Film and Television) was SCAD's top finisher, placing eighth, with a total pinfall of 1280 after the six individual games and placing 11
th,
Raina Davis (Oklahoma City, Okla. / Interior Design) had a total pinfall of 1275.
MEN'S RESULTS: The men's team finished 28
th after the individual and baker games with a total pinfall of 8615.
