WALESKA, Ga. – The SCAD men's lacrosse team traveled to Waleska, Ga., to face No. 1 Reinhardt on Thursday and lost 13-1.
RECORDS: The Bees are 0-2, 0-2 AAC, while the Eagles improve to 4-0, 1-0 AAC. The team kept Reinhardt to their lowest number of goals so far this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Eagles was able to score their first eight goals in the first half of the game. They were only able to score one goal in the third quarter before
Michael Mowers (Savannah, Ga. / Film and Television) found the back of the net to bring the score to 9-1.
Reinhardt scored the other four goals in the fourth quarter, rounding out the score to 13-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Mowers had a total of one goal on two shots.
Goalie
Benny Goldberg (West Bloomfield, Mich. / Industrial Design) totaled 14 saves in his 60 minutes of work.
Levi Henning (Holland, Mich. / Photography / Film and Television) had three caused turnovers followed by
Bryant Aquino (Cincinnati, Ohio / Photography) with two and
Jake Kozak (Bel Air, Md. / Illustration) with one.
