LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 6 SCAD women's soccer team traveled to Lakeland, Fla., for the last regular season game. The Bees tied No. 13 Southeastern 2-2 to clinch the 2023 Sun Conference Regular Season Title.

RECORDS: The Bees end the regular season with a 15-1-2, 11-1-2 SUN, while the Fire are 10-4-2, 10-2-2 SUN.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Southeastern got on the board first with a goal in the 16
th minute to go up 1-0. The Fire made it 2-0 at the 40:05 mark, going into the half up by two.

Sydney Chura cut the Fire's lead in half when she found the back of the net off an assist from
Ines Sommer. Sommer played a ball into Chura's feet just after kickoff and Chura dribbled and hit it over the goalie.

Ines Sommer's second assist to knot the game at two-all.
Neither team would score for the remainder of the game, ending with a 2-2 tie, and the Bees being named the Sun Conference Regular Season Champions.
