MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The SCAD men's soccer team traveled to Miami Gardens, Fla. to face No. 2 St. Thomas University and lost 4-1 on Thursday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-5-3, 5-4-2 SUN, while the Bobcats are now 13-0-1, 11-0-0 SUN.
HOW IT HAPPENED: In the 31
st minutes, St. Thomas scored the first goal to take a 1-0 lead.
Ten minutes later, SCAD answered with a goal of their own from
Ryan Holmes, off an assist from
Phillip Hoeltgen to knot the game at one-all. The score remained tied through the half.
Unfortunately, the Bobcats scored three unanswered goals in the second half to earn the 4-1 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: The Bees totaled three shots on goal with
Ryan Holmes leading the offense with one goal on two shots on goal.
Phillip Hoeltgen totaled one assist while
Lewis Gamble tallied one shot on goal.
