Men’s and Women’s Bowling Finish Second at the SCAD Baker Bash

LIlBURN, Ga. – The SCAD men's and women's bowling teams traveled to Lilburn, Ga. for the SCAD Baker Bash over Saturday and Sunday.
 
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: The tournament consisted of 36 baker games followed by best of five match play.
 
RESULTS: After 36 baker games, each team qualified as the No. 1 team going into match play.
 
 In match play, the men's team defeated Cumberlands 3-2 in the first round. Then, they defeated SCAD Atlanta 3-0 in the second round. In the third round, they lost to Tennessee Wesleyan 3-2. The men's team finished second out of 12.
 
The women's team had a bye the first round of match play. They defeated Cumberlands 3-1 in the second round and lost 3-0 to SCAD Atlanta in the final. The women's team finished second out of six teams.  
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will travel to Indianapolis, Ind. to compete at the Tier 1 Hoosier Classic on Saturday, February 18th – Sunday, February 19th.
