Box Score MACON, Ga. – The No. 7 SCAD women's tennis team traveled to Macon, Ga. and defeated No. 9 Middle Georgia State University 5-2 on Friday.

RECORDS: The Bees are now 9-3, 4-2 SUN while the Knights are 6-5, 4-1 SSAC.

DOUBLES ACTION: The pair of Alessia Piccoliori and Francina Llompart won 6-3 against the Knights at the number one doubles while Priya Sukkanha and Yue Yu also won their doubles match 6-5 at the number two doubles. These wins gave the Bees the doubles point.

Tova Tilk Tobrand and Britain Botsford (Delray Beach, Fla. / Film and Television) lost 6-4 to Middle Georgia State at number three doubles.

SINGLES ACTION: Priya Sukkanha (Nonthaburi, Thailand / Fashion Marketing and Management) won 6-4, 6-3 at number one singles, while Yue Yu (Dalian, China / Illustration) won 6-3, 6-2 at number two singles.

At number four singles, Francina Llompart (Palma De Mallorca, Spain / Interior Design) won 6-3, 6-1 with Tova Tilk Tobrand (Gothenburg, Sweden / User Experience (UX) Design) winning at number five singles with scores of 3-6, 6-4, and 10-7.

Alessia Piccoliori (S.Cristina (BZ), Italy / Graphic Design) and Nicole Katzarkov (Germantown, Tenn. / Preservation Design) lost 2-6, 6-5, 3-6 and 4-6, 6-4, 4-10 in the numbers three and six spots, respectively.
