Box Score AVE MARIA, Fla. – The No. 4 SCAD women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 24 Ave Maria University on the road Saturday.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-2, 3-1 SUN while the Gyrenes are now 5-2, 2-2 SUN.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: Tova Tilk Tobrand and Britain Botsford (Delray Beach, Fla. / Film and Television) won 7-5 at number three doubles but it was not enough as Ave Maria won the doubles point with wins at numbers one and two doubles.
 
Priya Sukkanha and Yue Yu lost 1-6 at number one doubles while Francina Llompart and Alessia Piccoliori lost 4-6 at number two doubles.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Priya Sukkanha (Nothaburi, Thailand / Fashion Marketing and Management) won 2-6, 6-6 ret. at number one singles while Yue Yu (Dalian, China / Illustration) won 6-2, 6-4 at number two singles.
 
Alessia Piccoliori (S.Cristina (BZ), Italy / Graphic Design) fell 3-6, 4-6 at number three singles while Francina Llompart (Palma De Mallorca, Spain / Interior Design) lost 3-6, 4-6 at number four singles.
 
In the number five singles spot, Tova Tilk Tobrand (Gothenburg, Sweden / User Experience (UX) Design) lost 4-6, 2-6 with Caroline Lewis (Marietta, Ga. / Fashion Marketing and Management) falling 2-6, 2-6 at number six singles.
