Men’s Swimming Finishes Second at the 2022 NAIA Men’s Swimming National Championship

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The SCAD men's swimming team finished second at the 2022 NAIA Men's Swimming National Championship on Saturday.

TEAM SCORE: The Bees finished in second with 427 points. Keiser University won the title with 742 points.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONS: Joel Thatcher won the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:27.79.

Miles Kredich won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:48.96.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Samuel Page, Kristof Monori, Miles Kredich and Joel Thatcher won the National Title with a time of 3:01.17.

DID YOU KNOW? Thatcher won every individual event in which he competed to be named an Individual National Champion three times in 2022.

ALL-AMERICAN FINISHES: Individual finishes in the top-eight earn NAIA All-American status.

Kristof Monori finished seventh in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:03.66.

In the 100-yard freestyle, Miles Kredich finished in fourth with a time of 45.15 while Samuel Page finished in seventh with a time of 45.72.

Dan Chevere took seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:03.82.

Brandon Vives finished in second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:50.13.
