SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 4 SCAD women's tennis team defeated the College of Coastal Georgia 6-1 at home on Saturday.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 5-2, 2-1 SUN while the Mariners are 1-2, 1-2 SUN.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: The Bees won all three doubles matches to win the doubles point. Priya Sukkanha and Yue Yu won 7-5 at number one doubles while Francina Llompart and Alessia Piccoliori won 6-3 at number two doubles. Britain Botsford and Tova Tilk Tobrand won 6-3 at number three doubles.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Priya Sukkanha (Nothaburi, Thailand / Fashion Marketing and Management) won 6-1, 6-4 at number one singles while Yue Yu (Dalian, China / Illustration) won 6-1, 1-6, 6-1 at number two singles.
 
At number four singles, Francina Llompart (Palma De Mallorca, Spain / Interior Design) won 6-2, 6-0 with Nicole Katzarkov (Germantown, Tenn. / Preservation Deisgn) and Britain Botsford (Delray Beach, Fla. / Film and Television) won 6-2, 6-4 and 6-1, 6-2 at numbers five and six singles, respectively.
 
Alessia Piccoliori (S.Cristina (BZ), Italy / Graphic Design) fell 6-2, 6-2 at number three singles.
