Equestrian Wins Holiday Tournament of Champions

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The SCAD equestrian team traveled to Virginia Tech to compete in the Holiday Tournament of Champions on Saturday, December 3rd.
 
TEAM RESULTS: The Bees were named Champion with 47 points, while Goucher College was named Reserve Champion in the 14-team field.
 
Champion – SCAD – Savannah, Ga. – 47 pts.
Reserve Champion – Goucher College – Baltimore, Md. – 39 pts.
3 – Virginia Tech – Blacksburg, Va. – 35 pts.
4 – Hollins University – Roanoke, Va. – 32 pts.
5 – Sacred Heart University – Fairfield, Conn. – 31 pts.
6 – Washington and Lee University – Lexington, Va. – 25 pts.
7 – University of Massachusetts – Amherst, Mass. – 23 pts.
8 – Delaware Valley University – Doylestown, Pa. – 22 pts.
9 – Penn State University – State College, Pa. – 21 pts. *tie breaker
10 – Mt. Holyoke College – South Hadley, Mass. – 21 pts. *tie breaker
11 – Otterbein University – Westerville, Ohio – 21 pts.
12 – Lafayette College – Easton, Pa. – 17 pts.
13 – Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College – Saint-Mary-of-the-Wood, Ind. – 12 pts.
14 – University of Dayton – Dayton, Ohio – 6 pts.
 
INDIVIDUAL SCAD RIDER RESULTS: Celia Cram was named Champion in the Tournament of Champions High Medal and Hattie Bradford was named Champion in the Tournament of Champions Low Medal.
