No. 13 Women’s Soccer Falls to No. 9 Southeastern University

LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 13 SCAD women's soccer team fell to No. 9 Southeastern University in the Sun Conference Semifinals 2-1 on Tuesday night.

  • The Bees are now 14-4-1.
  • The Fire is 12-2-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Southeastern scored their two goals in the first half.
  • SCAD's Mia Nelson (Omaha, Neb. / Animation) assisted by Abigail Siddall (Plymouth, Mich. / Film and Television) was able to score to get the Bees on the board at the 46-minute mark finishing the game at 2-1.
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Goalie Zoe Goodale (Coppell, Texas / Undeclared) made six saves in her 90 minutes of work.
  • Nelson totaled one goal on two shots with Siddall having one assist and two shots.
  • Berglind Baldursdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland / Architecture), Emily Miller (Apex, N.C. / Advertising and Branding), and Jule Stendebach (Kelkheim, Hessen, Germany / Undeclared) had two shots each.
  • Lane Lieberman (Chevy Chase, Md. / Visual Communication), Noel Thompson (Chesapeake, Va. / Graphic Design), and Ida Akesson (Loddekopinge, Sweden / Graphic Design) each totaled one shot.
