HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The No. 3 (in the Sun Conference) SCAD women's soccer team defeated No. 6 Webber International University 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.

- The Bees are now 14-3-1.
- The Warriors are 8-4-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- An early goal from Ines Sommer (Lisbon, Portugal / Film and Television), with an assist from Berglind Baldursdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland / Architecture), at the two-minute mark gave SCAD the early 1-0 lead.
- Webber's only goal came shortly after to tie the game 1-1.
- The game remained tied until Abigail Siddall (Plymouth, Mich. / Film and Television), with an assist from Mia Gomez (Austin, Texas / Graphic Design & Advertising and Branding), to bring the score to 2-1 at the 31st minute.
- Seven minutes later, Emily Miller (Apex, N.C. / Advertising and Branding), with an assist from Ida Akesson (Loddekopinge, Sweden / Graphic Design), scored the Bee's last goal finishing the game 3-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Goalie Zoe Goodale (Coppell, Texas / Undeclared) made three saves in her 90 minutes of work.
- SCAD's defense held the Warriors to only five shots.
- Sommer finished the game with one goal on one shot while Miller had one goal on four shots.
- Siddall had one goal on seven shots; Akesson had one assist.
- Baldursdottir and Gomez each had one assist with four shots and three shots, respectively.
- Filippa Bjare (Saltsjobaden, Stockholm, Sweden / Architecture) had two shots while Lane Lieberman (Chevy Chase, Md. / Visual Communication) and Jule Stendebach each had one shot.
