HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The SCAD men's cross country team is the Runner-Up in this year's Sun Conference Championship.
TEAM RESULTS: The Bees finished in second place with a score of 59 points. Southeastern won the event with a score of 32 points.
ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS: SCAD named two runners to the First-Team All-Conference and one runner to the Second-Team All-Conference.
First-Team All-Conference runners included
Tomoki Scharber (Mill Valley, Calif. / Accessory Design), who finished in second with a time of 25:05.6, while
Carson Philbin (Charlotte, N.C. / Social Strategy and Management) finished in sixth with a time of 25:22.6.
With a time of 25:45.0,
David Fuller (Portland, Ore. / Industrial Design) finished in 11th, which placed him on the All-Conference Second Team.

SUN CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS: Six men's cross country athletes were named to the SUN All-Academic Team. To earn this honor, an athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50, and SCAD led the way with a combined 14 athletes between the men's and women's team. The following athletes earned this honor:
