Men’s Bowling Places Fifth, Women’s Seventh at the Tier 1 National Collegiate Match Games

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Members of the SCAD men's and women's bowling teams competed in the Tier 1 National Collegiate Match Games, on Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th.
 
TOURNAMENT INFO: The tournament consisted of two days of action, featuring six individual games followed by 20 baker games.
 
MEN'S DAY 1: After day one, SCAD placed eighth with a total pinfall of 6131.
 
MEN'S DAY 1 INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Julian Salinas (Houston, Texas / User Experience (UX) Design) was the Bee's top bowler after the individual matches. His total pinfall was 1357 with an average of 226.2 placing him 13th out of the 73 - player field.
 
In 49th place, Bennett Moses (Orlando, Fla. / Fashion) had a total pinfall of 1179 with an average of 196.5 while Tyrell Ingalls (Grand Island, N.Y. / Sound Design) placed 60th with a total pinfall of 1127 with an average of 225.4 after only playing five games.
 
MEN'S DAY 2: The men's team finished in fifth place with a total pinfall of 10428 over the two-day period.
 
WOMEN'S DAY 1: After day one, SCAD placed seventh with a total pinfall of 5693.
 
WOMEN'S DAY 1 INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Ana Olaya (Cali, Colombia / Creative Business Leadership) was the Bee's top bowler after the individual matches. Her total pinfall was 1245 with an average of 207.5 placing her 11th out of the 77 - player field.
 
In 14th place, Raina Davis (Oklahoma City, Okla. / Interior Design) had a total pinfall of 1211 with an average of 201.83 while Grace Bringham (Orlando, Fla. / Interior Design) placed 42nd with a total pinfall of 1090 with an average of 181.67.
 
Adriana Laguado (Valencia, Venezuela / Creative Business Leadership) placed 75th with a total pinfall of 743 with an average of 185.75 after only playing four games.
 
WOMEN'S DAY 2: The women's team finished in seventh place with a total pinfall of 9410 over the two-day period.

WHAT'S NEXT? This Bees will travel to Addison, Ill. to compete in the Tier 1 ISBPA Kegel Collegiate Classic on Saturday, January 14th – Sunday, January 15th.
