QUICK HIT: The No. 5 SCAD women's tennis team continued its winning streak with a 7-0 win over Southeastern Saturday afternoon.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 4-1, 4-1 TSC while the Fire are now 6-7, 3-4 TSC.
DOUBLES RESULTS: Haley Morrissey (Frisco, Texas / Animation) and
Priya Sukkanha (Nothaburi, Thailand / Fashion) won the first match of the day with a 6-0 win at number three doubles.
Eika Johanna Weber (Oslo, Norway / Industrial Design) and
Tova Tilk Tobrand (Gothenburg, Sweden / Industrial Design) secured the doubles point with their 6-4 win at number two doubles.
At number one doubles,
Nicole Katzarkov (Coral Gables, Fla. / Preservation Design) and
Yue Yu (Dalian, China / Illustration) won 6-6 (7-5).
SINGLES ACTION: Katzarkov provided the next point for the Bees with her 6-0, 6-1 win at number six singles.
Weber gave the Bees a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win at number three singles while Yu ensured the victory with a 6-3, 6-0 win at number two singles.
Tobrand dispatched her number five singles opponent 6-3, 6-2 while Morrissey won 7-5, 2-6, 10-5 at number four singles.
Sukkanha finished the day with a 7-5, 6-2 win at number one singles.
