Women’s Soccer Overcomes Warner 3-1 on the Road

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The No. RV women's soccer team defeats Warner University 3-1 on the road Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Despite out shooting Warner 11-3 in the first half, SCAD went into halftime down 1-0 as the Royals scored in the 37th minute.
  • In the second half, the Bees held the Royals to only three shots while taking eight of their own and scoring three goals to earn the 3-1 win.
  • SCAD's first goal came at the 69:32 mark from Abigail Siddall (Plymouth, Mich. / Film and Television) which tied the game at one-all.
  • Sydney Chura (Milford, Mich.) gave the Bees a 2-1 lead in the 74th minute.
  • With less than three minutes remaining, Berglind Baldursdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland / Architecture) scored the last goal of the game to give SCAD the 3-1 win.

  • Chura totaled one goal on one shot while Siddall took two shots on goal with one goal and Baldursdottir tallied three shots with one goal and two shots on goal.
