Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Earn AAC Offensive Players of the Week Honors

SAVANNAH, Ga. – SCAD men's lacrosse player Elliot Fish and women's lacrosse player Mackenzie DeMott have earned Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's and Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors for the week ending March 8.

Elliott Fish (Toronto, Ontario, Canada / Film and Television) scored five goals and totaled two assists for a game-high seven points in SCAD's 15-5 win over visiting University of Michigan-Dearborn last week. Fish currently leads the team in goals (19), assists (10) and points (29). This is the second week in-a-row in which Fish has earned the AAC Offensive Player of the Week honor.

The Bees will travel to Laurinberg, N.C. for a 1:00 p.m. game against Lourdes University on Saturday, March 14.

Mackenzie DeMott (Dix Hills, N.Y. / Fashion) scored a game-high eight goals in SCAD's 31-3 win over AAC opponent Tennessee Wesleyan on Thursday. Her eight goals is a single-game high for DeMott and one away from tying the single-game record. The sophomore added two ground balls and an assist in the win.

The Bees will host Lawrence Tech on Friday, March 13 at 4:00 p.m.
