DOUBLES ACTION: Valerie Droop (Hilton Head, S.C. / Advertising and Branding) and
Nicole Katzarkov (Coral Gables, Fla. / Preservation Design) fell 4-6 at the number one doubles spot.
Haley Morrissey (Frisco, Texas / Animation) and
Tova Tilk Tobrand (Gothenburg, Sweden / Industrial Design) lost 4-6 at number two doubles, while
Priya Sukkanha (Nothaburi, Thailand / Fashion) and
Francine Voit (Boca Raton, Fla. / Interior Design) lost 2-6 at three doubles.
SINGLES ACTION: Sukkanha won the single point for the Bees winning 6-1, 6-0 at the number one spot.
Droop fell 7-6, 7-7 (0-5) at number two singles while Katzarkov fell short in a third-set tiebreaker, losing 6-7 (0-4), 6-1,1 0-8 at three singles.
Morrissey lost 6-0, 6-3 at four singles while Tobrand lost 6-2, 6-3 at the fifth singles spot.
Voit fell 6-2, 6-4 at the six singles spot.
