DOUBLES ACTION: Tova Tilk Tobrand (Gothenburg, Sweden / Industrial Design) and
Haley Morrissey (Frisco, Texas / Animation) won 6-3 at number one doubles while
Valerie Droop (Hilton Head, S.C. / Advertising and Branding) and
Priya Sukkanha (Nothaburi, Thailand / Fashion) won 6-1 in the number two spot.
Candace Mortier (Nassau, Bahamas / Sound Design) and
Francine Voit (Boca Raton, Fla. / Interior Design) won 6-0 at number three doubles.
With three doubles wins, the Bees took a 1-0 lead into the singles action.
SINGLES ACTION: Sukkanha continues to dominate in TSC action going 6-0, 6-0 in the number one spot.
Droop and Katzarkov won 6-0, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-1 at number two and three singles, respectively.
Morrissey won 7-5, 6-2 at number four singles while
Caroline Lewis (Marietta, Ga. / Fashion), making her SCAD debut won 6-0, 6-1 at number five singles.
Brittany Waugh (Stevenson Ranch, Calif. / Advertising and Branding) won handedly at number six singles, defeating her opponent 6-0, 6-0.
