QUICK STORY: The SCAD men's tennis team dropped the home opener 7-0 against No. 7 ranked Keiser University Saturday afternoon.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 0-1, 0-1 TSC, while the Seahawks improve to 2-0, 2-0 TSC.
 
DID YOU KNOW? The scoring system has now changed to the NCAA DI format which means that whoever team wins the best of three matches earns a singles doubles point. The score is now the best of seven.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: Liam Stoica (Auckland, New Zealand / User Experience (UX) Design) and Nicola Buffo (Legnago, Italy) lost 6-1 at the number one doubles spot. 
 
Sebastian Nunez (Mexico City, Mexico / Furniture Design) and Eloy Veloso (Mar Del Plata, Argentina / Advertising and Branding) fell 6-2 at number two doubles, while Matthew Kastritis (Algonquin, Ill. / Graphic Design) and Kyle Peters (Manheim, Pa. / Film and Television) lost 6-0 at three doubles.
 
SINGLES ACTION: At number one singles, Stoica lost 6-0, 6-0.
 
Both Buffo and Veloso fell 6-1, 6-1 in their matches, playing two singles and four singles, respectively.
 
Nunez picked up points but ultimately fell 6-3, 6-2 in the third singles spot.
 
Katritis lost 6-0, 6-0 at five singles while Peters fell 6-2, 6-0 at number six singles.
