DOUBLES ACTION: Liam Stoica (Auckland, New Zealand / User Experience (UX) Design) and
Nicola Buffo (Legnago, Itlay / Undelcared) lost 6-3 at number one doubles while
Eloy Veloso (Mar Del Plata, Argentina) and
Sebastian Nunez (Mexico City, Mexico / Furniture Design) fell 6-4 at number two doubles.
SINGLES ACTION: Despite falling 1-0 at the completion of doubles, the Bees won three of the played matches – Webber only traveled with four athletes – to earn the 5-2 win.
Stoica clinched the win for the Bees at number two singles, winning 7-6, 6-2.
Veloso won 6-4, 6-2 at number three singles while Nunez won 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 at number four singles.
